The fixed price of gasoline at manned stations is lowered by 25 öre to 16.94 kronor per liter. The diesel price is lowered by 15 öre to 17.09 kronor per liter, while the price of biodiesel (HVO100) is lowered by 15 öre to 19.64 kronor per liter.

The price of ethanol (E85) is also lowered, down by 20 öre to 13.44 kronor per liter.

The price of vehicle gas remains unchanged at 28.89 kronor per kilo.

The price reductions at gas stations in Sweden occur simultaneously with the global market price of crude oil falling to its lowest level since the summer of 2023. A futures contract for delivery of so-called Brent oil next month falls to 72.80 dollars per barrel.

The market is worried, among other things, that an oversupply of oil on the global market will occur as demand in China, with growth problems, appears to be unexpectedly weak.
