"Now, barriers are being introduced against the use of Deepseek on mobile phones, tablets, and PCs with access to the parliament's information and services", writes the parliament's administration in an email to Altinget.
The background to the Chinese AI service being stopped is a recommendation from the security authority NSM, which has urged Norwegian businesses not to allow Deepseek on IT systems with access to work-related systems.
In Denmark, the presidium of the Folketing decided on Thursday that politicians and officials in the Folketing should not use Deepseek on computers, tablets, and mobile phones provided by the administration.

The Swedish Riksdag administration states that they are following the issue, but that there are currently no plans to introduce any barriers or bans.
