Hungary's government will conduct a "national consultation", a survey in the form of an informal questionnaire, which Viktor Orbán's right-wing populist government is sending out to all adult citizens.
The Prime Minister expects "everyone" to give their opinion on the question of Ukraine's potential EU membership.
The question is simple: yes or no.
The survey's results are not legally binding for the government.
On Thursday, Orbán announced, as expected, that Hungary does not agree with the other 26 EU countries on continued strong support to Ukraine.
