A man in his 70s has died in connection with a drowning accident in Karlskoga when he and a man of the same age ended up in the water.
They went through the ice, says police spokesperson Martina Graddin.
The men were taken to hospital by ambulance, but the one man's life could not be saved. The other man is still being treated in hospital, but his condition is stable.
There is no suspicion of crime, says Martina Graddin.
The police were alerted by passers-by at around 10 am on Thursday.
