A 45-year-old woman has died after being run over by a bus at the station in Jakobsberg, northwest of Stockholm.
The alarm was received by the police at 21.38 on Friday evening.
A preliminary investigation has been initiated into negligent homicide and reckless driving to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
The bus driver is receiving support from Nobina, which is responsible for bus traffic in the region. They have also initiated their own investigation into the incident.
We always want to learn from incidents and accidents to see if there is anything that can be done differently. The other thing is that we are employers and we have an important employer responsibility to investigate from that perspective, says David Eriksson, press chief at Nobina, to P4 Stockholm.
