"I love challenges and hope to be able to contribute with my experience and my knowledge to handball as well", says Norberg to the club's website.

Furthermore, the former curling star tells that it wasn't a hard choice to step into the world of handball.

"When I got the question, I didn't need to think for very long. The timing was completely right and it will be exciting to be part of the journey in a newly started association."

Härnösands Handball Association came about through a merger of the associations Brännan and Härnösands HK. The men's team in the newly started association will play in division 2 north.

"Curling is an extremely tough sport mentally. Handball is a physical and tough sport, but it's also about attitude and mental strength. I'm convinced that I can teach the guys a lot about that side of the sport. Team sports are about getting each individual to reach their maximum and perform for the team's best."

During her successful curling career, skipper Anette Norberg and her teammates took two Olympic Games gold medals – 2006 in Turin and 2010 in Vancouver – three World Championship gold medals and seven European Championship gold medals.
