The USA's former president Barack Obama is hitting the road to support Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign.
Eric Schultz, an advisor to Obama, says in a statement that the former president "is doing everything he can to help Vice President Harris, Governor (and vice presidential candidate Tim) Walz and Democrats around the country get elected".
Obama will focus on the crucial swing states. He will make his first appearance on Thursday in the industrial city of Pittsburgh in the state of Pennsylvania.
Already on Saturday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will come to Pennsylvania. He will then speak at a campaign meeting in Butler, the city where he was the target of an assassination attempt in July. Tech entrepreneur and Trump supporter Elon Musk will also participate.
"I will show my support", Musk writes on X.
