Brit Pop group Oasis is, as is well known, reuniting next year for a number of concerts, but the question is what one of the Gallagher brothers will play on. Noel has just let the auction house Sotheby's sell three guitars he used during his career for nearly 2.8 million kronor, in total.

The most expensive, a Gibson Les Paul Standard, had a starting price of 80,000 pounds but went for 132,000 pounds, equivalent to almost 1.8 million. The guitar is on the cover of the debut single "Supersonic".

Noel and his brother Liam Gallagher, notorious for public in-fighting, recently announced that they will do things together again after a 15-year separation and go on tour in 2025.
