Norway, Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands have entered into an agreement to jointly send 100 air defence missiles to Ukraine's Patriot system.
32 have already been delivered and the remaining 68 will be delivered within a few weeks, writes Die Zeit.
The announcement comes from Germany's Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, who, together with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, visited a military exercise in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on Tuesday, where Ukrainian soldiers are being trained in the Patriot system.
Norway's Defence Department confirms the information to NTB. Already during a visit to Stockholm at the end of May, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre announced that Norway will contribute a total of 2.7 billion Norwegian kroner to Ukraine's defence.
Ukraine has previously requested multiple units of the Patriot system.
