Norway's Queen Sonja is to receive a pacemaker, the Norwegian royal court announces.
The 87-year-old queen was struck by heart palpitations on Saturday and was admitted to hospital in Lillehammer for observation. She was discharged on Sunday.
The operation where she will receive a pacemaker will take place at Rikshospitalet in Oslo on Thursday.
"The queen will then remain in hospital for one or two days", the court writes.
