A man in his 20s from northern Norway has been arrested, suspected of espionage. The man worked as a security guard at the US embassy in Oslo, confirms the Norwegian security police PTS, which is cooperating with American authorities in the case.
The man has admitted to collecting and sharing information with Russian and Iranian intelligence services.
According to the prosecutor, large amounts of digital material have been seized in the investigation, reports NRK. Among other things, they have found dialogues where the man receives instructions from his handler.
