There was no crime behind the drowning accident at Skara Sommarland last summer, when a ten-year-old boy died.

The preliminary investigation into suspected manslaughter has therefore been discontinued, announces the Prosecution Authority.

"The measures taken in the investigation have not shown that any outsider or circumstances at the site contributed to the boy's death in the sense that criminal liability can be expected," says prosecutor Jenny Karlsson in a press release.

It was on August 3 that the boy was found unconscious in one of the pools. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
