The crisis-stricken property company Oscar Properties has got a new management. Richard Bagge has been appointed as the new CEO and Hans von Celsing as the new chairman.

"The company is in a challenging situation, but Richard Bagge has good experience and extensive knowledge in the areas needed to overcome the challenges", says founder Oscar Engelbert in a press release.

The decision was made by the company's new board, which was elected at an extraordinary general meeting earlier on Monday.

Richard Bagge will also take a seat on the board alongside Oscar Engelbert and Hans von Celsing.

Oscar Properties has managed to avoid bankruptcy and has applied for reconstruction.

"We have high hopes of getting a voluntary reconstruction through. The work will be challenging and exciting", says Bagge in the press release.

At the same time, the subsidiary Oscar Properties Förvaltning has been petitioned for bankruptcy by the Tax Authority. The company has tax debts of over 34 million kronor, according to the bankruptcy petition, reports Expressen.
