YouTuber and film producer Joakim Lundell gets to the bottom of his painful childhood in a new documentary series on TV4 play. "Joakim – an abandoned child" is the name of the series, according to TV4 "an attempt to understand what happened".
At the age of eight, Joakim Lundell was placed in a foster home and in the series, he visits both his foster parents and his biological father. Joakim Lundell's brother also participates and together with a psychologist, they read the social services' notes.
According to Catrin Magnusson, executive producer at TV4, the series is about a person who "constantly struggles to understand and come to terms with their broken childhood".
The series premieres on February 13.
