The man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a person was found dead in his apartment in Lund may be suffering from a serious mental disorder, reports SVT News Skåne.
The man, who is in his 50s, was stopped by police in Malmö one night at the end of May, at the same time as his apartment in Lund was searched. Then, the dead man had been discovered after tips from people who called the police and alerted.
The suspect was arrested the same night and was later detained on probable cause suspected of murder.
According to the so-called paragraph 7 investigation – a minor mental examination – the man may be suffering from a serious mental disorder.
