A man who was arrested as a suspect for the murder of a woman in Hässleholm municipality has been released.
The alarm about the death came at 13.40 on Sunday after a 55-year-old woman was found dead in a pool on her property. A man of the same age who was present at the scene was arrested and detained.
According to prosecutor Johan Eriksson, he is still suspected, but the suspicions are not strong enough to request his detention.
He remains as a designated person and suspect in the case. So we'll see what the total investigation yields later, says the prosecutor.
He is waiting, among other things, for information about the cause of death. It is not entirely established that the woman was murdered.
