Multiple Vehicle Collision on E6 – 17 Injured

A traffic accident involving multiple vehicles has occurred in Kävlinge on Wednesday evening. Three passenger cars and a truck are involved.

Seventeen people are injured, according to Region Skåne. Seven of them have been taken to hospital

Of these, three have been taken to hospital with serious or life-threatening injuries, says Jessica Schale at the Skåne police region.

It concerns two adults and one child.

Four people have moderate injuries. The remaining ten involved were assessed on site to have minor injuries.

The road, E6 at the height of Löddeköpinge, has been closed, and the Swedish Transport Administration estimates that it may not reopen until midnight.
