Several dogs have been attacked and injured by lynxes in the areas around Sävsjö. Now the County Administrative Board has announced a protective hunt for lynxes, reports local media.
In recent weeks, three dogs have been injured on different occasions in the same area. The dogs were injured in connection with hunting.
On Friday, the County Administrative Board in Jönköping County decided on a protective hunt for a lynx within a smaller area in the northwestern parts of Sävsjö municipality.
