At least seven people have died since violent storms and flash floods hit France and Switzerland.

Violent storms have hit the countries over the weekend and hundreds of people have been evacuated since the Rhône River and its tributaries overflowed.
The rescue service plans to evacuate 300 people who have arrived in the town of Peccia due to a football tournament. 70 others are being evacuated from a tourist area in the community of Mogno.
