The door company Prodoor has seen sales increase by 100 percent in January, says marketing manager Daniel Cederlund to the newspaper.

Many people are getting in touch, who are worried and want to have their exterior doors replaced. And we're seeing this just in the nearby area, a few hundred meters from places where an explosion has recently occurred.

Other companies have not noticed the same sharp increase in sales, but Daniel Binett, salesperson at Svenska skydd, says that they are getting questions they haven't gotten before.

We've noticed that there are other types of questions now. Are there bomb-proof doors? Bullet-proof doors?

According to Robin Persson, sales manager at Säker Bostad, most apartment buildings in major cities already have security doors. He estimates that it's about 70-80 percent.

The trend we're seeing now is that housing associations are becoming more interested in surveillance, lighting, and securing the perimeter protection. If someone really wants to blow something up, no door will be able to withstand it, he says to Mitt i.
