The plane was carrying cargo on behalf of the freight giant DHL when it crashed near the intended landing strip in Lithuania's capital on Monday. Representatives from several countries have stated that the incident could be a so-called hybrid attack from Russia.

With everything that has emerged and what we know now, there are no signs that this could be sabotage, says Kasciunas to the media on Wednesday.

The main theory so far is that the plane experienced some kind of technical problems. One of the four people on board was killed.

The incident is being further investigated.
