Hockey hero Sundin is nominated in the category of the year's literary book along with, among others, "The Last Theater Director: The Story of Benny Fredriksson" by Johan Hilton, "The Last Book about the Murder of Olof Palme" by Jon Jordås and dance band star Olle Jönsson's autobiography "The Voice Reflects the Soul", written together with journalist Mats Olsson.
In the category of the year's novel, Nobel laureate Han Kang has been nominated for "I Don't Say Goodbye", as well as, among others, "The Night's School" by Karl-Ove Knausgård, Lisa Ridzén's "The Cranes Fly South" and Agri Ismail's "Hyper".
The two latter can also receive the award for the year's debut.
The Adlibris Prize is awarded in nine categories and it is the readers who vote for the winners among the nine nominated books in each class. The voting takes place on the online bookstore's website. The winners will be presented on January 30.
