Six people are sentenced to long prison terms for manufacturing amphetamine on a large scale and handling and selling large quantities of cocaine. The verdict has been handed down by the Helsingborg District Court.
The longest sentences are given to two men who were involved in all the drug-related activities covered by the indictment. They are sentenced to twelve and eleven years in prison, respectively, for aggravated drug offenses, according to the court in a press release.
The evidence consists largely of information from encrypted chats, which Swedish authorities have gained access to through cooperation with authorities in other countries.
An additional person was charged, but was acquitted.
