Three managers are fired after Botkyrka municipality received criticism for how 16 million kronor, which the municipality received to prevent gang recruitment of children and young people, was used. This is reported by SR Ekot.
According to the radio, the money has, among other things, been used for a New York trip and a marketing plan that was later abandoned.
SR writes, referring to Botkyrka municipality, that the three managers "have committed serious breaches of the employment contract" and also "failed to comply with internal regulations, agreements, and laws."
Botkyrka has, following Ekot's investigation, decided to pay back the 600,000 kronor for the campaign that never materialized.
