The man, who is in his 20s, was arrested on Friday and was remanded in custody on Sunday pending extradition.
He is suspected of twelve different crimes – including robbery, extortion and sexual assault, according to the Norwegian prosecutor.
Through his lawyer, the man denies the allegations and states that he was in Bergen to work. He also claims that there is a threat against him in Malmö and that it would therefore be dangerous for him to return.
