Two men assaulted and subjected a woman to an attempted rape during the night in Gothenburg, reports SVT News West.
The individuals dragged the woman, who is in her 20s, into a car. When she cried for help, passers-by intervened and managed to get the woman out of the car.
They have saved this woman, says Fredrik Svedemyr, the police's press spokesperson to the channel.
How many people helped the woman is unclear.
The incident occurred at one o'clock at night towards Sunday, and the two suspects disappeared from the scene later. A report of assault and attempted rape has been filed, but no one has been arrested.
