An 80-year-old man has died in a drowning accident in a lake in Ovanåkers municipality.
Witnesses had seen the man fall into the water. He was picked up and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was initiated, but the man's life could not be saved, writes the police on their website.
The alarm about the accident came at 12:30 on Sunday.
