Sunday offered a new sun- and heat festival for Swedes. In Målilla in Hultsfreds municipality, 29.9 degrees were measured, according to SMHI's preliminary figures. And it is the highest temperature so far this year.

The previous highest note for the season was on Saturday. Then it was 28.8 degrees in Torpshammar in Medelpad.

It was really warm in many places in the country on Sunday. In Stockholm, 29.5 degrees were noted and in Delsbo it was 29.1 degrees.

But now cooler weather is approaching. Already during Sunday evening and the night to Monday, rain is moving in from "southwest over almost the entire country", writes SMHI.
