Sweden has had a really sunny and warm Saturday. It was warmest in Torpshammar in Medelpad. There, 28.8 degrees were measured.

It is the season's highest so far, says Katarina Andersson, meteorologist at SMHI.

But Torpshammar was not the only place in the country with summer heat on Saturday. It has been warm and sunny in almost the entire country.

In Sveg in Härjedalen it was 28.2 degrees, while it was 26.7 degrees in Piteå. Stockholm had almost 26 degrees, while it was around 24 to 25 degrees in Gothenburg.

Already on Sunday, it may be time to note a new highest temperature for the season.

It can be up to 28 degrees in many places, says Katarina Andersson.
