A 25-year-old man, armed with a knife, has been arrested at a high school in Trollhättan, which Aftonbladet was the first to report on.
We were alerted due to a report of a man with a knife-like object, says police spokesperson Adam Isaksson Samara to TT.
No one is reported to have been injured.
The police were alerted at 14.34 on Thursday.
