A man was found on Friday under a tree in the forest about a mile north of Alvesta. The man was taken to the Central Hospital in Växjö where he was declared dead.
An ambulance, rescue service, and police were called to the scene. The incident is considered a pure accident, the police write on their website.
The Region of Kronoberg writes on its website that the deceased is between 66-75 years old.
