A 45-year-old man was seriously injured in an assault at a traffic junction on E20 outside Vara. According to the police, a driver pushed the man's vehicle and then braked suddenly in front of him.
Then the driver got out and assaulted the victim, who was seriously injured, says police spokesperson Hans-Jörgen Ostler to TT.
The assaulted man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Hans-Jörgen Ostler says it is unclear whether it was a traffic accident or something else that led to the assault.
The driver suspected of the serious assault has not been arrested.
The alarm about the incident came on Thursday afternoon.
