A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murdering an elderly woman in Gnosjö last year, reports P4 Jönköping.
The man was detained on Friday. During the detention hearing on Monday, the man confessed to the murder and requested a forensic psychiatric examination.
The woman, who was in her 70s, was found dead in a recreational area in Gnosjö on the evening of November 13.
Another man was arrested last year on suspicion of the murder, but was later released due to lack of evidence.
