A man in his 30s has been arrested on probable cause suspected of aggravated rape of a child in Örebro in 2010, reports SVT News Örebro.
The investigation was discontinued but was reopened when new information emerged. The new evidence includes, among other things, DNA, since the man was identified in another investigation.
The man, who was arrested on Tuesday morning, has no prior convictions for sexual offences.
He denies the crime.
