A man in his 20s has been detained following yesterday's explosion outside a residence in Malmö.
The alarm about a powerful bang in the Lindeborg district came at around 18:00 on Tuesday evening. Several people were in the residence, but no one was injured. However, the building adjacent to the entrance was damaged.
Later the same evening, a person was arrested. He is detained for gross reckless endangerment and offenses against the law on flammable and explosive goods.
Exactly what exploded, the police's press spokesperson Nils Norling cannot comment on.
It's an explosive device, it's not a firework or similar, but something more powerful, he says.
The police are investigating whether there is a threat against someone living at the address.
