Another of the Swedish construction companies is releasing a loss report and announcing further layoffs.

Wästbygg Gruppen made an operating loss of 78 million kronor for the first half of the year. It was admittedly better than during the same period last year when the loss landed at 239 million kronor.

Revenues fell by half a billion to 2.2 billion kronor.

"The current situation means that we now need to make further staff reductions, which naturally feels sad, but unfortunately also necessary," says CEO Jonas Jönehall in a press release.

The company has approximately 550 employees.
