The Gothenburg Book Fair has chosen Lithuania as the guest of honor for the 2028 edition of the fair, writes Dagens Nyheter. Until then, Lithuania will work to build relationships and create collaborations with Swedish publishers, literary organizations, and translators.
It is already known that the Canadian province of Quebec is the guest of honor for the 2026 edition of the Book Fair. A year later, it's Flanders' and the Netherlands' turn.
