The snack and beverage giant Pepsico, which is behind the soft drink Pepsi, among other things, is now lowering its revenue forecast for 2024 as a consequence of decreased demand on the American market.
The company estimates that the organic growth, i.e. adjusted for, among other things, exchange rates, will be "a low single-digit number" compared to an earlier forecast of 4 percent. During the third quarter, sales decreased by 0.6 percent according to the company's quarterly figures.
