The leaflets show according to CNN an image of the deceased Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar surrounded by debris, with the text:
"Sinwar destroyed your lives. He hid in a dark hole and was eliminated when he fled in panic. Hamas will no longer rule Gaza. Finally, it is possible for you to be freed from this tyranny".
Over 100 Israeli hostages remain in captivity in Gaza since Hamas' terrorist attack on Israel on October 7 last year. However, it is unclear how many of the hostages are still alive.
