Kristersson: It Must Not Happen

Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) says that he has spoken with the national security adviser Henrik Landerholm after revelations about carelessness with documents and private trips. Such things should not happen and must not happen again, says Kristersson to SVT News.

During the winter, among other things, Dagens Nyheter has shown that Landerholm has been careless with confidential documents and forgotten his mobile phone at the Hungarian embassy in the midst of the NATO process. He has also let taxpayers foot the bill when he traveled to visit his partner in Berlin, reports Aftonbladet.

The Social Democrats, the Left Party, and the Green Party have demanded that Henrik Landerholm resign, and last week Kristersson was reported to the Riksdag's Constitutional Committee by V.

The Prime Minister, however, does not want to answer whether his confidence in the national security adviser has been affected by the revelations.

This is important stuff, but not things I personally deal with, he says to SVT, referring to the Government Offices' security department and administrative department, which Kristersson says are investigating the events.
