The gaming company Kindred reports a profit before tax of 55.6 million pounds for the second quarter, which is higher than market expectations.
Analysts had, according to Bloomberg's compilation, expected a profit of 46.7 million pounds.
The revenue simultaneously amounted to 327.6 million pounds, an increase of 7 percent. Here, the average expectations were 329.5 million pounds. The company also reports that the number of customers increased by 12 percent to approximately 1.7 million.
"Throughout the entire second quarter, a strong activity was seen in the sportsbook, with the European Championship 2024 further boosting customer engagement towards the end of the period", writes CEO Nils Andén in the company report.
