Industrial giant Atlas Copco reports an operating profit of 8.5 billion kronor for the second quarter. This can be compared to the profit of 9.5 billion during the corresponding period last year.
The order intake decreased by 8 percent to just over 40 billion kronor. Revenues also decreased by 8 percent but to a total of 41.2 billion, an organic decrease of 2 percent.
Atlas Copco, one of the Stockholm stock exchange's heavyweights, is a major supplier of vacuum technology to industrial customers, but also delivers, among other things, pump solutions, industrial tools and mounting solutions.
