A weakening of the American dollar gives consequences for the mining giant Boliden. The company's adjusted operating profit amounted to 1.3 billion kronor compared to the expected 1.62 billion, according to Bloomberg's forecast.
"During the quarter, the greatest impact on market conditions has been a weaker American dollar in relation to both the Swedish krona and the euro, which has had a clear negative impact on the period", writes the company's CEO Mikael Staffas in the interim report.
The revenue of 22.3 billion kronor was, on the other hand, in line with expectations.
