Barely seven months after "Luanda" Jireel surprises with his second album this year. On November 15, "Yemaya" is released, named after an African goddess seen as the special protector of women.
"It's a surprise to the fans, but it actually comes as a surprise to me myself. Originally, I had thought of just continuing to make music and release songs that I like, but suddenly I had a whole album. Then it felt right to bundle it with the tour finale", says Jireel in a press release.
On November 23, Jireel concludes his Scandinavian tour with a performance at Annexet in Stockholm.
