The investigations concern serious weapons offenses linked to three incidents in May. In two cases, young people were stopped from going to the embassy, and in one case, a 14-year-old was arrested after a shooting near the embassy.

More than ten people have been suspected of various forms of involvement, but the only one who has been convicted is a 15-year-old who was stopped with a loaded weapon in a taxi on the way to the embassy.

According to prosecutor Rasmus Öman, there is also evidence against two 14-year-olds who are too young to be prosecuted.

We can see that there are clients in the background who we have not been able to identify, says Öman to the radio.

It involves, among other things, a person who is said to have assigned the task in a chat and one who is said to have paid 80,000 kronor to the 14-year-old who shot near the embassy.

The Israeli intelligence service Mossad has pointed out the shooting as a commissioned job assigned by Iran, carried out by Swedish gang criminals.
