The forecast indicated a significant economic downturn, but not entirely to that extent.
"We have not managed to sell players for a fairly long time. It affects the result strongly. The second part that affects the result is that we had large one-off costs of 6.9 million kronor last year, mainly related to securing continued top-tier play" says club manager Michael Sturehed in a press release.
Due to the economic situation, the club is forced to lay off employees.
"All staff have been informed, some the hard way that their services will be terminated. We are setting significantly tougher requirements for the upcoming budget. One may think that the budget is too tough, but one must dare to believe in a budget regarding expenses that concern both football and non-football matters", says Sturehed.
