The trade union IF Metall is suing the electric car manufacturer Tesla for 100,000 kronor, reports Expressen with reference to the news agency Siren.
The trade union believes that Tesla has breached the Co-Determination Act (MBL) when one of the trade union's local branches at Tesla's service workshop in Uppsala did not receive any insight into the operations. Tesla refers to the denial being due to the ongoing conflict with IF Metall.
Since October last year, IF Metall and Tesla have been at odds with each other. According to the trade union, the car giant refuses to sign a collective agreement and therefore the trade union has gone on strike.
