In the beginning of September, hand grenades were found hidden at Östra cemetery in Malmö. Now, the police have searched the cemetery again and made a new discovery: an ammunition cache.
We have not found firearms or similar, and no other suspected dangerous objects. It's something we see as a success. One can undoubtedly feel safe when moving around and near the cemetery from now on, says Nils Norling, press spokesperson at Malmö police.
He cannot comment on how much ammunition has been found.
We will be making more of this type of large-scale searches in the future, says Nils Norling.
