Soul enthusiasts and grassroots are essential for the alternative music scene's survival. When Viva Sounds is held in Gothenburg 28/11–30/11, it is the theme for the entire annual music conference.
"In a time of reduced cultural support, closed rehearsal rooms, dwindling music media, and increasingly tough competition, it feels more important than ever to discuss the conditions and future of the grassroots level," says Mattias Tell at Viva Sounds in a press release.
During the conference, notable bands and artists such as British Los Bitchos, Norwegian Motorpsycho, Swedish Agitator, and Hanna Järver will also perform.
