Greta Thunberg has been released by the police in Copenhagen after being detained during a protest against the situation in Gaza, reports the Danish news agency Ritzau.
Thunberg was one of six people arrested in Krystalgade in central Copenhagen, reports Ekstra Bladet. The fact that demonstrators were arrested was confirmed by the police on the media platform X.
The organization Studerende Mod Besættelsen (Students Against Occupation) demands that the University of Copenhagen terminate its collaborations with Israeli universities and the plan was to occupy the University of Copenhagen's museum building.
